Can You Really Trust the Bible?
Last night Alan Shelby did a masterful job of lecturing at UMKC. The topic had to do with the validity of the Bible. I’ve never heard evidence laid out like Alan laid it out last night. It was a compelling faith booster. I would encourage all of you who can to show up for Part 2 next Thursday night at 7pm to come out and bring a friend, Christian or not. I left encouraged and blown away at God’s work through Alan. Wow. The people in attendance were obviously blown away as well. Impressive. Very impressive.
Single, college-minded individuals, ages 18 -23 learn what it means to give up their self-centered lives and surrender their passion. This passion is manifested upwardly (our ministry to the Lord), inwardly (our role in the body of Christ) and outwardly (to the lost). Once an individual understands what it means to surrender their passion, he/she can be used mightily for His kingdom. Young adults also experience dynamic praise and heart-centered preaching in a supportive and loving community. We worship in a relaxed environment so come as you are.
